The Challenge

The Summit team were challenged by Willbox to design and develop a new website to improve their site performance and speed. The Willbox team also wanted to have a bespoke enquiry form within the website to encourage customers to use this and for them to be able to get more precise answers on what they can hire.

Willbox wanted to add in an ecommerce function to the website in order to sell second-hand containers, in addition to the selling and hiring of new containers.

The final challenge set by the Willbox team was to improve the SEO on the new website and their performance on Google.

This year they have delivered a brand new website for us. Despite coming up against many challenges and stumbling blocks in the development process, the end product they have delivered is a modern, innovative site which is leaps and bounds above our previous version.

The digital application

For this project we created a Miro board to lay out the structure of the website and to determine the customer journey for the website.

We built the Willbox website on Webflow due to its high performance, the flexibility it has to design and buld and because the client wanted to be able to edit the website with ease. Their previous website was on Wordpress, which was something they wanted to move away from. They were having issues with their out of date plugins and finding it difficult to make updates. We find Webflow is particularly great for our clients as it means that they can add to and edit the website in the future themselves without too much technical knowledge.

Following the challenge set by the Willbox team, we built a bespoke enquiry system, which allows customers to fill in what they would like to hire, which then connects to Salesforce. Therefore, creating a seamless process for Willbox enquiries.

Within this project, we created an ecommerce section, so the Willbox team have the ability to sell their second-hand containers to their customers with ease.

The other important factor for this website was to improve the SEO. The Summit team were careful when cross-referencing with the previous website to ensure no information was lost in the process, and to improve Willbox’s ranking.

The results

Once the website was up and running, we ran a report on the Willbox website and below are the results.
