The Challenge

Summit Digital were given a brief by Headlane to give their brand logo a refresh, to redesign their website and to help with their vision: to keep the globe connected, and their mission: to be the fastest independent global supplier of original electronic components.

Although Headlane wanted a fresh new design, it was also important to retain their image in this redesign in order for their existing customer base to still recognise them.

 
 

Branding

The Summit team were given free reign creatively for the logo and branding refresh whilst using the warm colours that Headlane were already known for. The red was important to keep in the logo and and across the website as it stands out in this blue dominated industry!

The digital application

The Headlane website was constructed using Webflow due to its superior performance, rapid construction pace, and the client's preference for straightforward website editing. Using Webflow also allows for more flexibility in the design and to be able to tailor the output to what the client is after for their unique website. In addition to these great reasons for using Webflow, it is also preferred by Google, and therefore your website performs a lot better in SEO, as seen with Headlane’s results below!

During the build of the Headlane website, the team got involved in mulitple aspects to bring the site together. Alongside a local photographer, we visited Headlane’s warehouse to get some amazing images of their products, for their shop as well as the main customer site, and of the team in action. In addition to this the Summit team worked hard on the copywriting on the website, making sure it matched Headlane’s tone and reinforced their position in the industry.

On-going Marketing

Following the website build, we are getting involved in the on-going marketing for Headlane, including social media marketing and researching and organising attendance to global industry events.
